Assistant Principal's Message

Mrs. Carland is a native of Horry County and a product of Horry County Schools. Mrs. Car land graduate from Loris High School, earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Coastal Carolina University, and a Master’s of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of South Carolina.

The 2020-2021 school year will mark Mrs. Carland’s 26^th year in education. She has served as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, and assistant principal. Mrs. Carland firmly believes that every child can succeed and that students are the center of all school-related decisions. Relationships between families and the school are vital to the success of our students. Mrs. Car land enjoys giving back to the community in which she has grown up in.
