Daisy Elementary Families,

It is with great excitement and gratitude that I introduce myself as the principal of Daisy Elementary. I am honored to join this school community, where students are at the heart of everything we do.

I have dedicated over 20 years to education, serving as a teacher, instructional coach, and assistant principal before stepping into the role of principal. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. I believe learning should spark curiosity, foster creativity, and help children discover their own strengths.

This year, we are placing a strong focus on the power of reading. Reading opens doors to imagination, knowledge, and opportunity—it is the foundation of all learning. Together, we will inspire our students to read with purpose and joy. Our school-wide theme is "Rise with Reading", and we will celebrate growth, perseverance, and a shared love for books in every classroom.

At Daisy Elementary, we are committed to high expectations for all students, a culture of kindness and respect, and strong partnerships between home and school. I value open communication and welcome families as essential partners in our shared mission to prepare students for lifelong success.

This year, I look forward to getting to know each of our students and their families. Whether it’s greeting children in the car line, visiting classrooms, or cheering at school events, I am eager to build relationships that make our school feel like a second home.
